Dr. Timothy C. Wong focuses his clinical cardiology practice on the intersection of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) and advanced cardiac imaging.  He completed his medical education and residency at New York University School of Medicine, and his cardiology and advanced imaging fellowships at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine / UPMC.  Currently, he directs the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute’s Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Center and Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Center. His research interests include the role of cardiac imaging in characterizing disease status in HCM, pregnancy outcomes in HCM, and clinical trials of novel pharmacotherapy.
