Mark Zenker

Dr. Zenker is a cardiologist with Ascension Saint Thomas Heart West in Nashville Tennessee. He is board certified in internal medicine, adult cardiology, American Society of echocardiography, and the American Society of nuclear cardiology. Dr. Zenker started a comprehensive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) clinic 7 years ago and serves as the director. His HCM center became a center of excellence through the HCMA. He is also the director of the cardiac amyloidosis clinic.  He went to medical school at Southern Illinois University in Springfield Illinois. He performed his internal medicine residency, cardiology fellowship, and served as the Chief medical resident at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He currently serves as an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Tennessee and participates as core faculty in the cardiology fellowship program.
